Our Red Stage Program serves up the ultimate mix of fun, learning, and play for kids aged 5 to 8+ years. It’s specially designed to help young players rally into action with ease and confidence. Using smaller courts, lightweight racquets, and beginner-friendly red balls (25% compression), we strive to help your child ace their love for the game in every session..

Whether they’re picking up a racquet for the first time or ready to take their skills to the next level, this program helps kids master the basics while having a blast. What Makes the Red Stage a Winner?

Age-Appropriate Fun: Small courts, lightweight racquets, and soft red balls (25% compression) make learning tennis easy and enjoyable for young players.

  • Skill Development: A focus on essential techniques such as rallying, serving, and scoring helps build a strong foundation for success.

Program Details

  • Session Duration: 45 minutes of engaging and energising activities.
  • Coach-to-Player Ratio: 1 coach per 6 players, ensuring personalised attention.
  • Court Size: 8.23m x 3m or 10.97m x 5.5m.
  • Net Height: 75cm.
  • Ball Type: Red Ball (25% compression) for easier play and control.
  • Racquet Size: 19, 21, or 23 inches, designed for small hands.
  • Age Range: Suited for children aged 5–8+ years.

The Four Key Skills Every Red Stage Player Will Learn

  1. Rally: Build consistency and rhythm to keep the ball in play.
  2. Serve: Develop the fundamentals of a strong and reliable serve.
  3. Come to the Net: Learn to move forward confidently and master volleys.
  4. Score and Compete: Understand the rules, keep score, and practice fair play.

Game, Set, Value!

All full-term options are paid via weekly direct debit:

  • Full-Term Smash: $20 per week
    Paid weekly via direct debit over the 10-week term (total $200).
  • Early Bird Ace: $18 per week
    Paid weekly via direct debit over the 10-week term (total $180).
    *The Early Bird Discount applies only to the first lesson and must be registered before the term begins.
  • All-Court Advantage (2nd Lesson): $16 per week
    Paid weekly via direct debit over the 10-week term (total $160).
    *20% discount applies for a second weekly lesson.
  • Second Serve Special (Siblings): $16 per week
    Paid weekly via direct debit over the 10-week term (total $160).
    *20% discount applies to additional siblings.

What to Bring

Your little champ is ready to hit the court! Here’s what they’ll need to bring for every session:

  • Tennis Racquet: 19, 21, or 23 inches, suited to their size.
    Don’t have a racquet? No worries – we’ve got spare racquets on hand to get them started!
  • Comfortable Activewear: Clothes they can move in easily.
  • Sports Shoes: Proper sneakers with non-marking soles – these are usually light-coloured (like white, beige, or grey) and specially designed to avoid leaving scuff marks or streaks on the court surface. If you’re unsure, look for a “non-marking” label or test them on a light-coloured surface.
  • Water Bottle: Staying hydrated is key to keeping them in the game!
  • Hat and Sunscreen: Protection from the sun is always a must.
