Our Orange Stage Program is designed for kids aged 8 to 10+ years, helping them progress and extend their tennis-specific skills, strategies, and matchplay. It’s all about building resilience, fostering respectful relationships, and having fun while learning. Using medium-sized courts, lightweight racquets, and orange balls (50% compression), we strive to help your child ace their love for the game in every session.

Program Details

• Session Duration: 60 minutes of fun and energising activities.
• Coach-to-Player Ratio: 1 coach per 8 players, ensuring personalised attention while fostering group interaction.
• Court Size: 13m x 5.5m or 18.29m x 6.4m.
• Net Height: 75cm.
• Ball Type: Orange ball (50% compression) for controlled play and easier rallies.
• Racquet Size: 23–25 inches, designed for intermediate-level young players.
• Age Range: Suited for children aged 8–10+ years.

The Four Key Skills Every Orange Stage Player Will Learn

1. Rally: Continue building consistency and rhythm for longer rallies.
2. Serve: Develop a stronger, more strategic serve for matchplay.
3. Come to the Net: Refine forward movement and improve volleying techniques.
4. Score and Compete: Learn advanced scoring, match strategies, and fair competition.

Program Pricing

All full-term options are paid via weekly direct debit:

• Full-Term Smash: $25 per week
• Early Bird Ace: $23 per week 
  *first lesson only and registration must be completed by or on Monday, 27 January 2025
• All-Court Advantage (2nd Lesson): $20 per week
• Second Serve Special (Siblings): $20 per week

What to Bring

Your child is ready to take their game to the next level! Here’s what they’ll need to bring for every session:

• Tennis Racquet: 23–25 inches, suited to their size and skill level.
  Don’t have a racquet? No worries – we’ve got spare racquets on hand to get them started!
• Comfortable Activewear: Clothes they can move in easily.
• Sports Shoes: Proper sneakers with non-marking soles – these are usually light-coloured (like white, beige, or grey) and specially designed to avoid leaving scuff marks or streaks on the court surface. If you’re unsure, look for a “non-marking” label or test them on a light-coloured surface.
• Water Bottle: Staying hydrated is key to keeping them in the game!
• Hat and Sunscreen: Protection from the sun is always a must.
