Note: When registering your child for classes, they must also sign up for the 2025 General Membership. This membership covers personal injury insurance, eligibility for a club t-shirt, and access to coaching programs and club tournaments.

Looking for the perfect way to prepare your child for full-court tennis?

Our Green Stage Program is designed for kids aged 10 to 12+ years, giving them the skills, confidence, and experience to transition seamlessly to full-court tennis. Using a full-size court, lightweight racquets, and green balls (75% compression), we help your child take their game to the next level. The green ball bounces higher and faster than the orange ball, introducing kids to the speed and dynamics of standard tennis.

This stage is the final stepping stone before transitioning to the yellow ball and full-scale competition. Whether they’re mastering their serve, rallying with friends, or building matchplay strategies, this program ensures they’re ready for every challenge the court throws their way. What Makes the Green Stage a Winner?

Program Details

• Session Duration: 90 minutes of fun, focused, and energising activities.
• Coach-to-Player Ratio: 1 coach per 8 players, ensuring personalised attention while fostering group dynamics.
• Court Size: 20m x 7m or 23.77m x 8.23m.
• Net Height: 65cm or 91.4cm (full height).
• Ball Type: Green ball (75% compression) for a faster, higher bounce.
• Racquet Size: 25–27 inches, suited for pre-teens and older players.
• Age Range: Suited for children aged 10–12+ years.

Program Pricing

All full-term options are paid via weekly direct debit:

• Full-Term Smash: $30 per week
• Early Bird Ace: $28 per week
  *first lesson only and registration must be completed by or on Monday, 27 January 2025
• All-Court Advantage (2nd Lesson): $24 per week
• Second Serve Special (Siblings): $24 per week

What to Bring

Your child is ready to step up their game! Here’s what they’ll need to bring for every session:

• Tennis Racquet: 25–27 inches, suited to their size and skill level.
  Don’t have a racquet? No worries – we’ve got spare racquets on hand to get them started!
• Comfortable Activewear: Clothes they can move in easily.
• Sports Shoes: Proper sneakers with non-marking soles – these are usually light-coloured (like white, beige, or grey) and specially designed to avoid leaving scuff marks or streaks on the court surface. If you’re unsure, look for a “non-marking” label or test them on a light-coloured surface.
• Water Bottle: Staying hydrated is key to keeping them in the game!
• Hat and Sunscreen: Protection from the sun is always a must.
