All players participating in fixtures, junior development programs and other major events conducted by Tennis Townsville are required to be ordinary members of Tennis Townsville Inc. Tennis Townsville has four categories of membership. All memberships include registration with Tennis Queensland and provides insurance cover for members injured whilst playing Tennis.
Ordinary Member- $85
Ordinary members are eligible to participate in any fixtures, tournaments and other programs organised by Tennis Townsville. This does not include free court hire.
Ground Member- $135
Ground members are eligible to participate in any fixtures, tournaments and other programs organized by Tennis Townsville. Ground Membership allows member free use of the tennis courts at Townsville Tennis Centre during daytime when courts are available. Ground Members are entitled to 1 court when using the free facilities. Members must carry their members card with them and should book courts with the caretaker or the office. Full rates apply for hiring courts at night time.
Social Ground Member- $105
Social Ground Members will have free use of the tennis courts at Townsville Tennis Centre during daytime when courts are available. Ground Members are entitled to 1 court when using the free facilities. Ground Members must carry their members card with them and should book courts with the caretaker or office.Full rates apply for hiring of courts at night time. Social Ground Member will not be able to participate in any fixtures or tournaments conducted by Tennis Townsville.
Junior Member- $85
Applies to juniors who are under 16 years of age as at 31 December 2011(born in 1995) Juniors will be able eligible to participate in fixtures, tournaments and junior development programs. Junior members are entitled to free use of the tennis courts at Townsville Tennis Centre during daytime when courts are available. Junior Members are entitled to 1 court when using the free facilities. Junior Members must carry their members card with them and should book courts with the caretaker or office.Full rates apply for hiring of courts at night time.
Fill-in Player
For Fixtures, players can fill-in 3 times then they must pay FULL membership fee of $85.

Insurance
- Automatically covered by insurance in case of injury or tragedy
- Tragedy cover up to $250,000
- Non-medical cover up to $2,000
- Loss of income benefits up to $400 per week
- Student assistance or home help
- Insurance policy covers registered players between the ages of 5 and 85 years
- Players between 75 and 85 years of age are not eligible for loss of income or home help

Junior Travel Assistance
- Tennis Townsville contributes to junior players traveling expenses on the following basis:
- $100 to a player who represents Queensland State in school competitions.
- $200 to a player who represents the State in approved tennis competitions conducted by Tennis Australia.
- The maximum claim anyone player can make in one year is for three (3) tournaments.
Other Benefits
- Automatically registered with Tennis Queensland and will receive a personalised registration card. The registration card is required to be shown at various tournaments and fixtures.
