Cardio Tennis

Cardio Tennis is a music fuelled, high energy workout that will have you and your friends burning calories, while having fun at the same time. It does not matter if you play regularly or have not played tennis before, because Cardio Tennis is open to people of all ages, abilities and fitness levels.

Tennis Townsville's Cardio Tennis workouts run for 60 mins and comprises three basic elements:

  • warm- up
  • cardio segment (drill based and play based activities)
  • cool down 

Constant movement is the focus, as a qualified coach takes you through the fun and heart pumping drills. As well as being social, it’s a great way to boost your fitness and lose weight. According to the Tennis Industry Association, during a Cardio Session, women will burn between 300 and 500 calories and men will burn between 500 and 800 calories on average.

Cost is $50 for a six week program (six sessions on a particular day). Bookings and prepayment are essential.

Or casual bookings cost $10 - please text Paula on 0432 956 467 to ensure there are casual spots available on the day.
